This 18-week workshop is designed for those living in poverty and ready to make a change. They explore where they are, where they want to be, and how to get there. This workshop is the first step to achieving their goals.
Qualifications: living at or below 185% of Federal Poverty guidelines, motivated to make a lasting change, and able to make weekly Thursday evening meetings.

This 9-week workshop is designed for those living stable lives in middle and upper income levels. They will explore their perceptions and the realities of poverty and how to work with Leaders, becoming intentional friends.
Qualifications: at or above 200% of Federal Poverty guidelines, motivated to making a lasting change, successful completion of Conversations, and able to attend 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursday meetings.

This 18-month team is designed for successful graduates of the Getting Ahead and Bridges Out of Poverty workshops. One Leader partners with two Allies and forms an intentional friendship. This provides the Leader with a support system, a source of knowledge, and also an accountability. These teams meet twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays. During this time, the Leader and the Allies review goals and progress as well as just see how things are going in general. On the 5th Thursdays, we have Board Game Night.
This 5-week course is open to anyone interested in learning more about issues in poverty. Small group conversations, led by a facilitator, will explore Scott Miller's book Until It's Gone. Conversations meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays with Board Game Night on the 5th Thursdays.
